The first timed run of the Kristianstad European KZ2 Championship event was finally headed by Alessio Piccini (Tony Kart / Vortex) on 50”358 with Oliver Rasmussen (Kosmic / Vortex), 2nd at 13 thousandths. Gaetano Gomes Di Mauro (CRG / TM) finished 3rd in front of Daniel Stell (Mach1 / TM) and Rokas Bacisuka (Sodi / TM), while Paul Fontaine (Sodi / TM) finished 13th.
Matteo Vigano (Tony Kart / Vortex) then Francesco Celenta (Praga / TM) led in the second with Andrea Dahlberg (Birel ART / TM) in 2nd position while Finn Erik Rismyrh (Sodi / TM) joined the fastest. Celenta led the group with a time of 50”216, 6 hundredths ahead of Dahlberg, with Rismyrh 3rd, Vigano 4th and Pierre Loubère (Zanardi / Parilla) 5th.
The situation was slow to settle in the third session. Riccardo Longhi (Birel ART / TM) was ahead of Tom Leuillet (Sodi / TM). The Frenchman responded, but it was Jean Luyet (Tony Kart / Vortex) who took pole in the group and the category with 50”211 ahead of Leuillet and Longhi. Adrien Renaudin (Sodi / TM) was 4th fastest ahead of Martijn Van Leeuwen (Energy / TM). On the other hand, Alessandro Irlando (Sodi / TM) was not credited with any time.
Luyet was the poleman in KZ2 in front of Celenta and Leuillet, with Dalhberg 4th and Rismyrh 5th.
